City Mouse, Country Mouse, and The Secretariat Mouse.
Mouse, Mice, Rat. They come with different names, but they have one common aim, to cause nuisance and havoc in human lives. Right from causing deadly plague to causing discomfort by nibbling away favorite suit at the very day of your important meeting. It's like they have taken upon themselves the onus of causing immeasurable pain to the human cohabitants, who happen to reside with these tireless nibblers.
Now they are not alone, they have a huge genealogy and with their relatives and families spread all over the known world. They are expected to be of around 519 species. Today most of the city people miss these nibblers due to they being permanently taking refuge in the urban sewers and growing army ready to take on the world.
Seems that the country mouse in India is suffering from hunger and exploitation at the hands of private moneylenders and there are reports that there have been suicide attempts by them. Reports of these nibblers seen jumping directly in front of cat patrol are frequent. Many have migrated to urban sewers in search of food and nibbling. It seems that they are crowding the sewers by encroaching upon the pipes and crimes like cannibalism and food thefts are rampant.
I remember the story told to us about the City Mouse and Country Mouse, but nowadays these fellows are known for another name the Secretariat Mouse.It so happened that some of these nibblers established their abode and have caused immeasurable pain to the bureaucrats working in the Secretariat (you have to say they were working or else the state law enforcement will visit your house). Apparently, the bill was sanctioned to exterminate these rodents and the whopping bill turned out to be of more than 4 lakh Indian Rupees (Approx.). Just see the scale of damage and discomfort these nibblers are causing.
"But wait a minute two days ago in some unknown sewer down the Secretariat, there held a congregation of ALL INDIA MICE AND MOUSE ASSOCIATION FOR SUSTAINABLE CO-HABITANCE (AIMMASCOH) the Golunda ellioti the species that mainly participated in the congregation accused the Ministry of Maharashtra State of defamation as they don't recall being nuisance to the secretariat in the proportion mentioned in the bill and resolved to have a protest march on the day when the cat patrol is absent. They also resolved to demand the share in whopping 4 lakh rupee bill that was taken out from the government treasury under their name and such other resolutions as demanding more sewer space as the sewers are getting crowded and creation of more govt. godowns to diffuse the unemployment and hunger were also discussed.
The said congregation was then dispersed as the ill-famous officer tom of cat patrol was seen heading to the sewer hole."
The news may say anything but the AIMMASCOH has refused any part or involvement in the said Secretariat scandal of money siphoning and have alleged to sue Maharashtra ministry for defamation in the court of law. Also, they denied any Secretariat mouse species being involved and alleged that its a conspiracy that ministers and bureaucrats are scheming to siphon money in their name. Further details of this chapter will be seen as the news and media are trying to guess to exactly what proportion did the damage was caused and the number of parties involved in the scandal.
